Petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold fell 19.3% to 57.3% in Netherlands in 2020, according to ACEA.

Historically, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Netherlands reached an all time high of 89.1% in 1990 and an all time low of 57.3% in 2020. When compared to Netherlands's main peers, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Belgium amounted to 51.8%, 56.1% in Denmark, 46.7% in Germany and 55.4% in United Kingdom in 2020.
