Petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold fell 13.4% to 56.1% in Denmark in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Denmark reached an all time high of 97.8% in 1993 and an all time low of 54.1% in 2008. When compared to Denmark's main peers, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Germany amounted to 46.7%, 57.3% in Netherlands, 7.99% in Norway and 35.2% in Sweden in 2020.
Denmark has been ranked 10th within the group of 29 countries we follow in terms of petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold, 10 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
