Pekao's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.3% at the end of third quarter of 2023, up from 17.1% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 20.7% in 4Q2004 and an all time low of 10.0% in 1Q2008.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.6% at the end of third quarter of 2023, up from 15.0% compared to the same period of last year and up from 15.4% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 67.3% at the end of 3Q2023, down from 79.8% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 89.0%.

When compared to bank's main peers, ING Bank Slaski ended the third quarter of 2023 with a capital adequacy ratio at 18.1% and loans to deposits of 78.1%.
