Polish banking sector accepted retail deposits of PLN 1,004 bil in 2022, up 5.12% when compared to the last year.
Pekao accounted for 12.0% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Poland at the end of 2022. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 21.1% in 1999 and an all time low of 10.0% in 2014.
That's compared to a 10.3% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2022.
