Pekao employed 14,642 persons in 2022, down 0.408% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 26,415 persons in 1999 and an all time low of 12,870 in 2020.
The bank operated a network of 597 branches and 1,328 ATMs at the end of 2022. That's compared to 1,040 branches and 1,845 ATMs some 10 years ago.
Comparing Pekao with its closest peers, PKO BP operated a network of 967 branches and 3,011 ATMs in 2022 and Santander Bank Polska had 385 branches and 1,424 ATMs.
