Pegas Nonwovens is Europe’s second largest producers of nonwoven fabric for hygiene application (diapers, feminine hygiene, and adult incontinence). Based in Znojmo in the Czech Republic, the company produced 86,000 tonnes of fabric in 2012. Since 2005, the Company's revenues have grown 11.1% a year on average to over EUR 230 mil. The Company remains nicely profitabile (ROE reached 17% on average in the last decade), though the pressure on the margins is obvious - while 2014 EBITDA is 16% above the level seen in 2005, EBIT is only 5% higher while net profit is less than 2% above the number seen in 2005. At the same time, the Company must be investing heavily into the new equipments to remain the technological leader in the industry . Since 2003, nearly 60% of its operating cash flow has been invested back into the Company. In total, EUR 211 mil has been invested in 2003-2014.
