Pegas Nonwovens is Europe’s second largest producers of nonwoven fabric for hygiene application (diapers, feminine hygiene, and adult incontinence). Based in Znojmo in the Czech Republic, the company produced 86,000 tonnes of fabric in 2012. In 2014, the Company reached the record profitability, a net profit of EUR 27.1 mil. However impressive the profit numbers might look (and they are impressive with average ROE of 17% in 2005-2014), the profit growth seen in the last 10 years is lousy. While 2014 EBITDA is 16% above the level seen in 2005, EBIT is only 5% higher while net profit is less than 2% above the number seen in 2005.
