Pegas Nonwovens is Europe’s second largest producers of nonwoven fabric for hygiene application (diapers, feminine hygiene, and adult incontinence). Based in Znojmo in the Czech Republic, the company produced 86,000 tonnes of fabric in 2012.
Following the acquisition of the Company by Pamplona in 2005 and its listing at the Prague Stock Exchange in 2006, the Company's indebtedness increased heavily. At the end of 2014, the Company's debt accounted to 90% of its equity and 3x its EBITDA.
