Passenger cars per household rose 2.69% to 1.74 vehicles in Iceland in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per household in Iceland reached an all time high of 1.76 vehicles in 2007 and an all time low of 1.23 vehicles in 1994. When compared to Iceland's main peers, passenger cars per household in Denmark amounted to 0.906 vehicles, 1.10 vehicles in Norway, 0.975 vehicles in Sweden and 1.21 vehicles in United Kingdom in 2015.
