Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 2.83% to 196 vehicles in Oman in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Oman reached an all time high of 196 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 113 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Oman's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Iran amounted to 175 vehicles, 156 vehicles in Saudi Arabia, 220 vehicles in United Arab Emirates and 23.9 vehicles in Yemen in 2019.
