Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 2.54% to 321 vehicles in Qatar in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Qatar reached an all time high of 321 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 259 vehicles in 2006. When compared to Qatar's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Bahrain amounted to 386 vehicles, 175 vehicles in Iran, 156 vehicles in Saudi Arabia and 220 vehicles in United Arab Emirates in 2019.
