Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Chile reached an all time high of 193 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 97.6 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Chile's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Argentina amounted to 274 vehicles, 26.9 vehicles in Bolivia, 58.3 vehicles in Paraguay and 270 vehicles in Uruguay in 2019.
