Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 2.25% to 410 vehicles in Slovakia in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Slovakia reached an all time high of 410 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 166 vehicles in 1990. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Austria amounted to 573 vehicles, 504 vehicles in Czech Republic, 337 vehicles in Hungary and 600 vehicles in Poland in 2019.
