Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 2.21% to 55.7 vehicles in Zimbabwe in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 55.7 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 46.4 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Botswana amounted to 121 vehicles, 11.2 vehicles in Mozambique, 121 vehicles in South Africa and 16.2 vehicles in Zambia in 2015.
