Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 2.20% to 577 vehicles in Estonia in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Estonia reached an all time high of 577 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 85.8 vehicles in 1980. When compared to Estonia's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Finland amounted to 489 vehicles, 329 vehicles in Latvia, 401 vehicles in Lithuania and 354 vehicles in Russia in 2019.
