Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 2.02% to 261 vehicles in Bahamas in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Bahamas reached an all time high of 261 vehicles in 2005 and an all time low of 252 vehicles in 2012. When compared to Bahamas's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Cuba amounted to 20.6 vehicles, 73.3 vehicles in Dominican Republic, 3.81 vehicles in Haiti and 379 vehicles in USA in 2015.

Bahamas has been ranked 50th within the group of 137 countries we follow in terms of passenger cars per 1,000 people, 11 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
