Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 2.01% to 212 vehicles in Serbia in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Serbia reached an all time high of 212 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 150 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Serbia's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 237 vehicles, 365 vehicles in Croatia, 337 vehicles in Hungary and 265 vehicles in Romania in 2019.
