Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 1.96% to 61.7 vehicles in Palestine in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Palestine reached an all time high of 61.7 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 16.4 vehicles in 2007. When compared to Palestine's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Egypt amounted to 54.9 vehicles, 341 vehicles in Israel, 143 vehicles in Jordan and 125 vehicles in Lebanon in 2019.

Palestine has been ranked 89th within the group of 135 countries we follow in terms of passenger cars per 1,000 people, 15 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
