Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 1.59% to 156 vehicles in Saudi Arabia in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Saudi Arabia reached an all time high of 156 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 87.5 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Saudi Arabia's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Iraq amounted to 49.1 vehicles, 143 vehicles in Jordan, 220 vehicles in United Arab Emirates and 23.9 vehicles in Yemen in 2019.
