Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Peru reached an all time high of 50.6 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 32.3 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Peru's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Bolivia amounted to 26.9 vehicles, 193 vehicles in Brazil, 193 vehicles in Chile and 67.9 vehicles in Colombia in 2019.
