Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 1.37% to 21.7 vehicles in Cuba in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Cuba reached an all time high of 21.7 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 17.3 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Cuba's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Dominican Republic amounted to 75.1 vehicles, 55.5 vehicles in Jamaica, 231 vehicles in Mexico and 360 vehicles in USA in 2019.
