Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 0.958% to 49.1 vehicles in Iraq in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Iraq reached an all time high of 49.1 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 28.3 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Iraq's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Iran amounted to 175 vehicles, 445 vehicles in Kuwait, 156 vehicles in Saudi Arabia and 209 vehicles in Syria in 2019.
