Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Tunisia reached an all time high of 89.2 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 75.7 vehicles in 2008. When compared to Tunisia's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Algeria amounted to 96.8 vehicles, 627 vehicles in Italy, 368 vehicles in Libya and 680 vehicles in Malta in 2019.
