Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Norway reached an all time high of 516 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 193 vehicles in 1970. When compared to Norway's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Denmark amounted to 438 vehicles, 489 vehicles in Finland, 675 vehicles in Iceland and 488 vehicles in Sweden in 2019.
