Passenger cars per 1,000 people fell 3.82% to 114 vehicles in Singapore in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Singapore reached an all time high of 123 vehicles in 2010 and an all time low of 97.0 vehicles in 2003. When compared to Singapore's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Indonesia amounted to 53.2 vehicles, 397 vehicles in Malaysia, 33.3 vehicles in Philippines and 122 vehicles in Thailand in 2015.

Singapore has been ranked 83rd within the group of 137 countries we follow in terms of passenger cars per 1,000 people, 18 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
