Hungarian banking sector provided mortgage loans of HUF 3,047 bil in 1Q2018, up 0.478% when compared to the last year.
OTP Group accounted for 80.6% of all mortgage loans issued in Hungary at the end of 1Q2018. Historically, the bank’s market share in mortgage loans reached an all time high of 83.3% in 2Q2017 and an all time low of 48.3% in 4Q2010.
