Romanian banking sector accepted retail deposits of RON 178 bil in 2017, up 9.10% when compared to the last year.

OTP Bank Romania accounted for 2.13% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Romania at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 2.54% in 2015 and an all time low of 0% in 2009.

That's compared to a 2.14% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
