Romanian banking sector provided mortgage loans of RON 82.1 bil in 2017, up 7.36% when compared to the last year.

OTP Bank Romania accounted for 5.47% of all mortgage loans issued in Romania at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in mortgage loans reached an all time high of 6.04% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.086% in 2005.
