Historically, old age dependency ratio in Croatia reached an all time high of 34.4% in 2021 and an all time low of 10.6% in 1959. When compared to Croatia's main peers, old age dependency ratio in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 26.5%, 24.5% in Montenegro, 26.9% in Serbia and 33.4% in Slovenia in 2022.
