Number of teachers in secondary education fell 2.14% to 21.4 '000 in Moldova in 2020, according to World Bank.

Historically, number of teachers in secondary education in Moldova reached an all time high of 38.6 '000 in 1994 and an all time low of 21.4 '000 in 2020. When compared to Moldova's main peers, number of teachers in secondary education in Bulgaria amounted to 40.4 '000, 123 '000 in Romania, 816 '000 in Russia and 312 '000 in Ukraine in 2020.
