Historically, number of passenger cars in Turkey reached an all time high of 10.6 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.072 mil in 1963. When compared to Turkey's main peers, number of passenger cars in Bulgaria amounted to 3.16 mil, 5.10 mil in Greece, 1.70 mil in Iraq and 12.7 mil in Iran in 2015.
