Number of passenger cars rose 7.06% to 4.40 mil in Saudi Arabia in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Saudi Arabia reached an all time high of 4.40 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 2.16 mil in 2005. When compared to Saudi Arabia's main peers, number of passenger cars in Iraq amounted to 1.70 mil, 1.00 mil in Jordan, 2.00 mil in United Arab Emirates and 0.600 mil in Yemen in 2015.
