Number of passenger cars rose 4.17% to 0.240 mil in Tanzania in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Tanzania reached an all time high of 0.240 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.032 mil in 2005. When compared to Tanzania's main peers, number of passenger cars in Kenya amounted to 0.848 mil, 0.300 mil in Mozambique, 0.150 mil in Uganda and 0.250 mil in Zambia in 2015.

Tanzania has been ranked 114th within the group of 137 countries we follow in terms of number of passenger cars, 18 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
