Number of passenger cars rose 11.2% to 0.295 mil in Brunei in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Brunei reached an all time high of 0.295 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.077 mil in 2005. When compared to Brunei's main peers, number of passenger cars in Indonesia amounted to 13.5 mil, 12.0 mil in Malaysia, 3.36 mil in Philippines and 2.00 mil in Vietnam in 2015.
