Number of motor vehicles rose 6.03% to 22.5 mil in Indonesia in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of motor vehicles in Indonesia reached an all time high of 22.5 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 7.97 mil in 2004. When compared to Indonesia's main peers, number of motor vehicles in Australia amounted to 17.2 mil, 13.3 mil in Malaysia, 3.82 mil in Philippines and 0.813 mil in Singapore in 2015.
