Number of motor vehicles rose 4.70% to 1.88 mil in Kuwait in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of motor vehicles in Kuwait reached an all time high of 1.88 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.930 mil in 2005. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, number of motor vehicles in Bahrain amounted to 0.578 mil, 3.90 mil in Iraq, 14.1 mil in Iran and 6.60 mil in Saudi Arabia in 2015.
