Sales of manufactured cigarettes in pieces rose 1.39% to 24,130 mil in Romania in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, sales of manufactured cigarettes in pieces in Romania reached an all time high of 41,300 mil in 1995 and an all time low of 20,733 mil in 1960.
