Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita rose 0.491% to 3.47 per day in Slovakia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita in Slovakia reached an all time high of 4.93 per day in 1999 and an all time low of 3.20 per day in 2004. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita in Austria amounted to 4.07 per day, 5.25 per day in Czech Republic, 2.08 per day in Hungary and 3.00 per day in Poland in 2016.
