Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita of 15+ years fell 2.35% to 2.99 per day in Germany in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita of 15+ years in Germany reached an all time high of 6.55 per day in 1990 and an all time low of 2.99 per day in 2016. When compared to Germany's main peers, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita of 15+ years in Austria amounted to 4.72 per day, 3.00 per day in Belgium, 2.30 per day in France and 3.51 per day in Poland in 2016.
