Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita fell 3.22% to 4.72 per day in Slovenia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita in Slovenia reached an all time high of 6.87 per day in 2008 and an all time low of 4.72 per day in 2016. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita in Austria amounted to 4.07 per day, 4.11 per day in Croatia, 2.08 per day in Hungary and 3.26 per day in Italy in 2016.
