Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita fell 3.22% to 1,723 per year in Slovenia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita in Slovenia reached an all time high of 2,509 per year in 2008 and an all time low of 1,723 per year in 2016. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita in Austria amounted to 1,486 per year, 1,501 per year in Croatia, 761 per year in Hungary and 1,189 per year in Italy in 2016.
