Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita fell 2.69% to 640 per year in Iceland in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita in Iceland reached an all time high of 1,873 per year in 1984 and an all time low of 225 per year in 1939. When compared to Iceland's main peers, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita in Denmark amounted to 1,064 per year, 347 per year in Norway, 588 per year in Sweden and 506 per year in United Kingdom in 2015.
