Nordea generated total banking revenues of EUR 2,292 mil in the third quarter of 2019, up 1.78% when compared to the same period of last year and down 2.39% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of EUR 2,919 mil in 1Q2015 and an all time low of EUR 2,252 mil in 3Q2018. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to EUR 2,331 mil.
Net interest income represented 47.3% of total revenues, fee income contributed 33.0% and other non-interest income added further 19.8% to the overall revenue generation in 3Q2019.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 1.56% total assets in the third quarter of 2019, down from 1.57% a year earlier.
