Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans rose 9.09% yoy to 2.11% in Kosovo in 2Q2024, according to the National Central Bank. This is 7.25% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Kosovo reached an all time high of 8.13% in 4Q2013 and an all time low of 1.87% in 1Q2023.
Kosovo has been ranked 40th within the group of 62 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans as a share of bank loans, 5 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
