Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans rose 7.65% yoy to 2.04% in Kosovo in 3Q2024, according to the National Central Bank. This is 3.23% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Kosovo reached an all time high of 8.13% in 4Q2013 and an all time low of 1.87% in 1Q2023.
Kosovo has been ranked 14th within the group of 21 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans as a share of bank loans, 18 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
