Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans rose 51.9% yoy to 2.49% in Guatemala in September 2024, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.30% more than in the previous month.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Guatemala reached an all time high of 3.28% in August 2009 and an all time low of 1.19% in December 2013.
