Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans fell 14.6% to 1.60% in Vietnam in 2021, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Vietnam reached an all time high of 3.50% in 2014 and an all time low of 1.60% in 2021.
Vietnam has been ranked 104th within the group of 125 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans as a share of bank loans, 15 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
