Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans fell 10.2% yoy to 4.49% in Albania in June 2024, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.04% less than in the previous month.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Albania reached an all time high of 23.7% in September 2014 and an all time low of 4.45% in March 2024.
Albania has been ranked 4th within the group of 7 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans as a share of bank loans, 2 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
