Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Latvia reached an all time high of 14,958 persons in 1964 and an all time low of -21,441 persons in 1998. When compared to Latvia's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in Belarus amounted to 12,961 persons, 2,995 persons in Estonia, -11,853 persons in Lithuania and 320,617 persons in Russia in 2021.
