Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Spain reached an all time high of 774,489 persons in 2007 and an all time low of -254,292 persons in 2013. When compared to Spain's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in France amounted to 20,614 persons, 28,021 persons in Italy, -46,242 persons in Morocco and 27,295 persons in Portugal in 2021.
Spain has been ranked 5th within the group of 176 countries we follow in terms of five years cumulative net migration, 24 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
